Every Wednesdays @ 6:30pm: Terrariums

We’ll demonstrate the steps for building an open terrarium, including planting mediums, plants that work together, and maintenance. Registration is $50 per guest. Pricing includes a small, standard terrarium (open bowl), as well as planting materials and a set of coordinating plants – options will allow arid, sunny environments, as well as plantings for lower light situations. Standard soil cover and decor will be available for participants.

Join us in creating fantastical wearable flower crowns. We will show you how to create a solid base of greenery customized to fit your head, that you will add flowers and other botanicals to for a wild and magical look. $50 class fee includes a floral crown you make and take home.

Saturday, April 4 @ 11am: April Gardens

Join us as our garden team outlines some projects to get your garden off to a great start. Learn more about soil selection and seed germination. Lecture based. $25 per guest.

Kokedama is the Japanese gardening art of enclosing a plant’s roots in moss. Kokedama means “moss ball” and in this class you will learn how to make these fun plant creations, which can be suspended by string. Some experience repotting a plant, crafting or making things with your hands will be helpful. Be prepared to get your hands in the soil. $50 class fee includes the plant and materials.

Saturday, March 14th 12-2pm: Flower Class: Wedding Workshop

We will demonstrate how to create three essential elements to any wedding, a spiral stemmed bouquet, a pinned boutonniere, and a wrist corsage. $300 class fee includes a bouquet/boutonniere/corsage you make and take home.

Sunday, March 15th: Seed Starting Indoors

Learn how to start seeds indoors—get the quick run-down on what you need to know and do to successfully grow plants from seed! Once you’ve mastered seed starting there is a whole new world of herbs, flowers, and veggies you can grow, on the cheap. Class includes seeds and growing materials for an herb, flower, or veggie, you choose! $25.

Wednesday, March 18th 5:45-6:45pm: Tillandsias, Lithops, Carnivorous Plants

With origins in the driest deserts or in the boggy swamps, these plants have very specific care requirements. Learn about these strangely magical little plants and how to keep them happy. $20 class fee includes one of these unique plants you get to take home.

We’ll discuss the ins and outs of working in floral design from basic flower conditioning techniques to creating spiral stemmed vase arrangements and hand tied wildflower bouquets. This class is a great starting point for those who want to learn more about the floral industry while at the same time sharpening their design skills. $200 class fee includes an arrangement you make and take home.
