Our Christmas trees are grown in the Midwest on family farms. We carry two types of trees: Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir. Fir trees are known for having short, dense needles, and are used specifically for their fragrance and needle retention. Balsam Fir exhibit a classic green color and have flexible branches. Fraser Fir have a blue tone to their leaves and have sturdy, less-flexible stems.
“Premium” trees are the most manicured, clipped and grown to a full, lush look and a classic conical shape.
“Standard” or “Field Run” trees have received some manicuring, but still retain a natural look with a slightly freer branch structure.
“Natural” trees are just that – allowed to grow as-is and harvested with the unique and beautiful shapes as dictated by nature.
