Light: Eucharis amazonica or “Amazon Lily” grow from bulbs below the soil. They like bright shade, so a northern window or interior from a sunny window are typically great sources of light.

Water: Water fully and allow it to dry quite well. The bulbs below the soil line will hold water naturally, so it’s important these plants are not always wet.

Environment: These are very adaptable exotic plants and provided adequate lighting and watering routines, they should thrive in the average home. Avoid any excessive drafts such as exposure to heating / cooling vents all the same.

Toxicity: These plants are toxic.

Of Note:

• Downward-facing white flowers are gently fragrant and held aloft on slender stems.

*When planting in a pot without a drainage hole, avoid over watering by estimating 25% of the container’s overall volume, with appropriate drainage materials incorporated when planting.
