Mitriostigma is a genus of flowering plants in the Rubiaceae family. A cousin of the true Gardenia with less fuss. Just as lovely and fragrant. Fragrant star-shaped white blooms (sometimes tinged with pink) that cover the plant is a huge conversation starter.

*When planting in a pot without a drainage hole, estimate 25% of the container’s overall volume, with appropriate drainage materials incorporated when planting to safeguard from overwatering (albeit you can still overpour).
