Soleirolia - Care Sheet
Soleirolia “Baby’s Tears”
Light: Soleirolia is a quick growing groundcover of fine, tiny leaves. This bright green carpet will quickly spread to cover a pot and hug the edges. To maintain the density of these tiny leaves allow plentiful bright, incorrect natural light.
Water: Soleirolia requires that its soil is kept damp constantly, but with no standing water. It will not survive drought. They do well with humidity but also maintain some airflow as well.
Environment: These plants love humid environments. Cool to average home temperatures are perfect - avoid dry heat or warm / stuffy locations.
Toxicity: Reported to be non-toxic
Toxicity: Their quick growth means they may provide a lot of competition for other plants in a terrarium setting. They may easily be prune back to maintain space for everyone.
