Succulents are thick fleshy plants who's bodies store water for times of drought. The word succulent comes from the Latin word sucus meaning 'juice' or 'sap'. They thrive in limited water sources so they are great plants for those whom need to have a plant collection that they do not need to water all the time and can handle the direct sun rays.
