Alchemilla mollis, otherwise known as "Lady's Mantle", has attractive foliage that collects glistening drops of dew for a truly unique effect. Delicate sprays of chartreuse flowers are good for cutting. A splendid ground cover for shady places. Soft green color mixes well with other bold colors.   

  • Blooms: May - June
  • Light: part shade to shade
  • Soil: moist, well drained, regular garden soil
  • Spacing: 24"
  • Height at maturity: 12 - 18"
  • Pro tip: remove faded flowers. Cut back if foliage starts to look withered and unattractive. 
  • Dividing: in early spring if needed
  • Zones: 3 - 7
