Belamcanda chinensis, commonly known as Blackberry Lilly or Leopard Lilly isn't really a lily at all. It's actually more closely related to Iris. This unassuming  yet classy plant can be grown in full sun or part shade. We've seen this plant holding up just fine in the parkways of Chicago.
