Dendrobium orchid 5"

Sale price$48.00

Dendrobium is a genus of mostly epiphytic and lithophytic orchids in the family Orchidaceae. Orchids in this genus have roots that creep over the surface of trees or rocks, rarely having their roots in soil. Up to six leaves develop in a tuft at the tip of a shoot and from one to a large number of flowers are arranged along an unbranched flowering stem.

  • Light - plenty of bright, indirect sunlight
  • Watering - Soak medium and water when almost dry
  • Soil - well drained orchid bark or sphagnum moss
  • Humidity - Preferably 70% or higher
  • Fertilize - fertilize at the same level as other orchids: half-strength, balanced fertilizer every two weeks. This can be reduced by half during overcast weather or in winter

Flower color can vary as well as the species itself.  If you do have a preference in coloration and species we ask that you come visit us at the store to hand select the one of your liking.  When placing the order online we will select one for you and can not guarantee an exact coloration or variety. Plants are typically in 4 - 5" pots.

Images are used for general reference only. The size and shape of each plant will vary, as well as bloom state.
