Episcia are a flowering plant in the African violet family.  You can see the resemblance in proportion and the intensity of bloom, normally red, but can be pink, orange, yellow or purple.  Depending on the variety they also could have an interesting variegation on the leaves. Sweet and soft with a surprise.
