Ficus elastica, also called "Rubber Tree" or "Rubber Fig," is part of the Banyon tree family and has broad shiny ovate leaves and will develop aerial roots. One of the original sources for latex rubber. The standard form is grown to be a tree-like shape with one stalk and branches from it above. 

  • Light - full sun to part sun
  • Watering - dry down 5–10%
  • Soil - potting mix

Leaf color and species vary.  If you do have a preference we ask that you come visit us at the store to hand select the one of your liking.  When placing the order online we will select one for you and cannot guarantee an exact coloration or variety.
