Gillenia trifolata, or "Bowman's Root" is a wildflower native to eastern North America.  Starry, white flowers held in wine-colored sepals. Great for woodland borders or gardens.

  • Soil: moist, well drained, regular garden soil
  • Spacing: 2 - 3'
  • Height at maturity: 2 - 4'
  • Fertilization: mulch during the winter
