Ranunculus (Assorted) 4.5"

Sale price$9.00

Ranunculus is a huge genus of flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae. They are cool season flowers that grow best outside in the spring where temperatures hover around 55 degrees. During the summer they will start to fry out. Plant in early spring in containers or in the yard - just make sure to plan a companion plant next to it that can take over its glory after bloom. Huge blooms in various colors that can be clipped and used for a floral arrangement. They are susceptible to powdery mildew so make sure there is good airflow around them. In Chicago they are annuals so they would need replanting every spring by either saving the corms from the winter prior or new plant plugs.
