Schefflera alpina is an wild species of umbrella tree that can make an impressive statement. Its leaves are glossy green and palmately compound, forming what appears to be open hands with spread fingers. Leaflets can be slightly hairy on the underside. They trunk will turn woody over time and the mature height and spread can be up to 6' indoors.
