Sorbaria sorbifolia, otherwise known as the "Ash Leaf False Spirea" and "Ural False Spirea" is an upright shrub with dark green, fern like foliage that turns shades of pink and bronze. Fall foliage is bright red orange. It suckers and spreads freely. Creamy white flowers resembling Astilbe appear on new wood. Heat and drought tolerant once established.
